phone contracts are so fucking stupid they make it so complicated to buy a new phone and just try to trick you into renewing a contract. 

i just bought a pre-owned iphone 5s for $350 and my parents are still freaking out at me thinking i renewed their contract…like i’m not even tied to verizon anymore but i’m still on their plan but i can leave whenever
